Thomas Leroy Beers Jr., With a last name like Beers and two DUI charges in hardly more than a week, it’s impossible not to make the bizarre blotter. Also on tap: A woman who mistook sperm for lotion, a man sentenced to wearing an idiot sign, misuse of feces and other strange stories from the criminal realm.

A man with the last name of Beers apparently had too much and was arrested twice by Fairview Township Police on DUI charges in a little over a week.

Thomas Leroy Beers Jr., 32, of the township was arrested on Feb. 23 after an officer pulled him over in the 300 block of Big Spring Road at 1:36 a.m. police said.

He was again stopped in the 600 block of Old York Road just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, police said.

During both stops Beers was charged with DUI, police said.
