Coma request Bob Seger

Coma request Bob Seger - 79-year-old in coma wakes, gets concert wish, A woman in a coma made a request to see Bob Seger in concert upon waking. On April 10, Fox8 reported that 79-year-old Evie Branon was in a coma after having a stroke and her one wish was to go to a Bob Seger concert... and her wish is coming true today. Branon was in a comatose state for over 5 years but when she finally came to, she only had one request -- and she doesn't even know why she said it.

"Well, I don’t know anything about what happened to me, only that I had a stroke and I didn’t remember anything for five-and-a-half years. My memory started coming back, not all at once, just gradually but they said when I woke up one morning, the first words out of my mouth [were], 'I want to go to a Bob Seger concert,' and what made me say that I still can’t figure out why," Branon explained.

A coma request to see Bob Seger isn't common... at all... and the staff at the nursing home where Branon was staying couldn't believe the request either. It sounds like they may have had a hand in setting this all up.

Branon made her odd request two years ago and tonight she is celebrating having her life back. Branon was set to attend Bob Seger's concert in Auburn Hills. According to The Epoch Times, Branon will get to meet Seger as well. She says that she can't wait to give him a "big smooch." This is so meaningful to Branon and now her story is being read around the globe.

Bob Seger's people got wind of the coma request and they were happy to accommodate Branon. "“I always want to try to help out with stories like that because Bob loves his fans. It’s such a cool story I just wanted to help out in any way I could," said Ann Tenbrusch, of Punch Enterprises, which manages Seger (via The Epoch Times).

Hopefully Evie Branon had a blast tonight!
