Rhodri "wants Ryan to look him in the eye and tell him the truth" in order to enable the brothers to "move forward", the insider has also claimed.
Former Wales international Ryan's private life has been subject to a number of claims since he was named by an MP in Parliament as the footballer who took out a court injunction over an alleged affair with former Big Brother contestant Imogen Thomas.
